I grew up living in Brooklyn with my mom and older sister. My mother was a strict woman raising two kids with bold personalities and because my sister and I weren’t really allowed out, we had to make our own fun in the house. Those moments made us pretty close, so close that my mom loved capturing those moments through pictures. She would dress us up as if we were heading to church on Sunday morning, lol, when actually, we were just taking professional photos in our living room. I loved it and hated it at the same time because my mom would always have us in a puffy dress, bobo’s and ribbons in our hair, or some other bizarre ensemble. Thinking back I actually wouldn’t trade those memories for anything else! Now that my sister lives on her own she doesn’t have anything to look back on. Soooo because I’m such a loving and amazing sister, I decided to paint pictures of our family photos so she still has a piece of us in her new home.

Now don’t laugh lol because I took it way back with this photos :) Enjoy.

My advice, always create something from the heart. You can never go wrong when doing so!
